Inspired by the recent hit film Dear You, Hannah, an international student studying in China, journeyed to Guangdong's Chaozhou to explore the history behind qiaopi, remittance letters that once crossed vast oceans, carrying both money and the deep longing of Chinese for their homeland. 

As she uncovered the stories and historical context embedded in these documents, Hannah found the feeling of belonging that distance and time can never erase.
