Shenzhen Shuibei stands as China's largest, most advanced and comprehensive gold & jewelry cluster, boasting a fully integrated industrial chain. It has renovated from an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) base in the 1980s into a "Jewelry Capital" that covers high-value-added sectors, including design, exhibition & trading, brand operation, and inspection & testing.
Being a globally attractive destination for raw materials, Shuibei is home to approximately 7,000 legal entities in the gold & jewelry sector, over 40 well-known domestic retail and wholesale brands, with more than 70,000 industry professionals. It boasts over 20 specialized gold & jewelry markets, accounting for over 70 percent of China's annual gold trading volume and 80 percent of the country's rough diamond imports.

Every day, a wide range of jewelry, primarily gold, supplemented by jade, pearls, silver, diamonds, and other categories, is processed, authenticated, exhibited, and traded here. A significant portion is also exported worldwide through offline wholesale, cross-border e-commerce, and live-streaming retail channels.
60 percent of Chinese jewelry sold on platforms, such as online Amazon and AliExpress, are sourced from Shuibei. In 2024, jewelry exports through Shenzhen Customs reached 18 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 35 percent. Meanwhile, the Shenzhen International Jewelry & Jade Comprehensive Trade Platform handled a total import and export value of 7 billion yuan in 2024, solidifying Shuibei's role in making Shenzhen a "Global Capital of Jewelry Brands" for China and beyond.
