On August 8, the Dapeng New District Sports Center in Shenzhen officially opened to the public, offering a brand-new venue for physical fitness activities.

The sports center is located on Haixin Road in Baguang Area, Kuichong Subdistrict, Dapeng New District, covering a total floor area of about 30,000 square meters. It is operated by Shenzhen Sports Industry Group. 

The center houses a multi-purpose sports hall, a swimming hall, an indoor running track, and the Guanhai Theater. The sports hall features eight badminton courts and a standard basketball court. The swimming hall boasts a 50-meter, eight-lane competition-grade pool, designed for recreational swimming, professional training, and swim coaching.

Set against Baguang's coastal natural landscape, the sports center blends indoor sports facilities with outdoor activities such as cycling, hiking and camping.
