Located in Guangzhou's Nansha District, the Tunnel Museum is China's first professional museum dedicated to tunnels and underground engineering. Designed and built by China Railway Tunnel Group Co., Ltd., the museum features more than 5,000 square meters of exhibition space alongside a 6,000-square-meter tunnel-themed park.

The museum features several exhibition areas, including the history of China's tunnel development, tunnel construction methods and technologies, engineering equipment displays, a 5D experience theater and a geological disaster experience zone.

Among the highlights is "CREC (China Railway Group Limited)" No. 1, China's first composite earth-pressure-balance shield machine with independent intellectual property rights.

The tunnel-themed park boasts a 6-meter-tall "Tunnel Hero" sculpture and the cutterhead of the shield machine used in Shenzhen's Mawan Cross-Sea Tunnel. With a diameter of 15.53 meters, the cutterhead was used in the construction of what was then China's largest-diameter subsea shield tunnel.
