As the 15th National Games approach, a variety of sports equipment and related products have cast a spotlight on the ongoing third phase of the 138th Canton Fair in Guangzhou, providing global buyers with insight into the latest industry trends.

According to the Canton Fair, the 138th session set a new record in scale, with over 32,000 participating enterprises and 74,600 booths in total. Among these, the sporting products area highlighted two major trends, that is, increased intelligence and enhanced multifunctionality.

Brazilian buyer Flavio Perazzo showed strong interest in a multi-functional power rack. "The design of this equipment is impressive," he remarked. "You can make the biceps, triceps, chest, back, and do everything in just one machine. I never see such machine back in Brazil."

Not far away, another Brazilian buyer Matheus Bertani was examining a vibration plate machine. "This in Brazil works a lot for elderly people, because they like to stay at home and do some little exercise." he noted. "This product is easy to operate and safe to use. This should be a good business to Brazil."

Tlemcani Ali, founder of the Moroccan brand Vantum Padel, visited multiple padel product suppliers, actively engaging in discussions. "Padel is a new sport in development in our country." he said. "It's a good thing to come to China because China is already known for new technologies and good quality. To come here and visit the factories and see the Canton Fair is a really good thing for our development of sports in Morocco."

New Zealand buyer Shahdan Samnani was deeply intrigued by an exoskeleton robot in the exhibition area. "I'm looking for something that is more futuristic in terms of artificial intelligence and robots. The exoskeleton robot is so cool that I want to be the first to introduce it to New Zealand." His wife, Afsha Samnani, added that in addition to smart devices, consumers in New Zealand have strong demand for water sports equipment and the increasingly popular pickleball gear, which will be their focus during their tour in later days.

During the 138th Canton Fair, GO Guangdong, a platform dedicated to international exchanges, partnered with the Canton Fair to host a sports-industry-themed inspection tour in Guangzhou, serving as a bridge between buyers and enterprises. Through visits to enterprises and venues, it helped international buyers to expand business possibilities and build more determined goals when joining the Fair.
